The Telephone Kiosk is looking much brighter having received a fresh coat of red.
When the The Telephone Box was brough offline it was bought off British Telecom for a whole £1! With grant funding from North Yorkshire Council, it have been restored to look brighter than ever. Now it is used as the Village Library; please feel free to take a look in and borrow a book.
Behind this bright red landmark you will find the Village Noticeboard with useful information and posters for events in the Village as well as all the Parish Council News and Village Map. Furthermore it marks a central location for the Village Defib which is available for anyone in an emergency.
